We need your suggestions! New front doors?

So our house is a bit odd when it comes to the front doors. From the outside it looks like we have double doors. However, only one of the doors is functional and the non functioning door on the inside is covered with drywall. On the outside it looks like we double doors and on the inside it looks like we have a single door. I have yet to run into a neighbor that has a similar situation.

Since our front doors are old and don't seal well we are looking into replacing them with real double doors. We had debated about doing a single door with a window next to it but once we saw this kit from Crestview Doors we knew this is what we wanted. We have priced it up and are close to pulling the trigger on the project but we are curious what you guys think and if you have any color suggestions. I am posting 3 pics for possible colors but feel free to either mock up your own example or share a color swatch.

UPDATE

Here are two other color options we were thinking about.

  1. Jealous - I have been wanting a Crestview door ever since seeing their ads in Atomic Ranch years ago. I love lime green, but think that the red looks best with your house. Good luck! ~ Leah in Largo, FL www.qstar.etsy.com

  2. Of the three you present, I like the red.

  3. Like the red Kiddo, but it will fade pretty quick if you have a western exposure.

  4. red looks the best with the color you've chosen for your siding. The blue comes in second but it's the wrong color blue. Ever thought of orange?

  5. Also like the red the best - the other colors don't quite work for me on that base house color.

  6. Definitely red!

But have you considered a more horizontal door, like the Pasadena or the Bellevue? Your house is long, low, and lean, so I'd continue/emphasize the horizontal lines with a door with horizontal windows.

  7. I like the yellow or orange! We just bought a kit from Crestview Doors on Black Friday...they had extra 50% off of their clearance kits. The quality is really nice and it shipped super fast.

  8. I'm no help - I like them all! Maybe the coppery-orange ones? Oh, I don't know - they're all great!

  9. Jordan - Which kit did you guys get? Have you guys already installed it?

  10. Hi! Saw you on the Crestview FB page...
We are finishing up a Crestview installation ourselves and ours will be orange. There is a home with Chinese detailing 2 doors down with a lovely, original, lead-fueled red, so we wanted to go with something a bit different but still complementary -- we have unpainted bricks in a warm neutral, so we are hoping the orange will work well.

  11. We bought the Langston but are going to install it more like the Burbank. We got reeded glass which is really nice in person. Going to try to get it in some time this spring!

  12. 9251 is rockin this same Crestview door. I'm most attracted to the yellow door.

  13. Heeh, I like the way you edited the front door colors for us to see the different options that you are choosing from. Hmm, I feel the blue would best complement the color of your home. So what's the color that you've chosen?
