Does anyone know what kind of patio chair this is? I have seen pics of chairs like it before and have always thought they were great. A local antique store has this one but I would love to have a pair. Should I go back and buy this one? Thanks in advance for the help.
Not too sure who makes those chairs, but they look pretty darn neat! I saw a similar looking set on ebay recently: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320688644126
ReplyDeleteI found this (slide 9): http://www.countryliving.com/antiques/wrought-iron-furniture-0409. But it's not particularly descriptive (though I'd be interested in the "connects with umbrella" bit).
ReplyDeleteI vote that you buy the one, and then who knows maybe you'll find a pair and have three. Or maybe you'll find another lone one and have a set. Whichever way you can refinish them to look like a set.
Pretty sure that is a Salterini Hoop Chair: http://www.etsy.com/listing/54810147/pair-of-salterini-hoop-mid-century-patio
ReplyDeleteLeslie - I saw a picture of the whole setup you showed on flickr once. It was pretty awesome that is what made me really want these chairs.
ReplyDeleteChris - Thanks a ton for the info. Do you know if this chairs are hard to find? Should I go snag the one they have? I think they were selling it for $75 which I have no idea if that's a good price or not.
After Googling "Salterini Hoop chairs" I now want them to. So we're going to have to fight for them!
ReplyDeleteFor $75, not a bad deal, they are pretty comfy too. Start with the one and you never know, you'll find 3 more or an odd number down the road, then paint them all at once.
ReplyDeleteLeslie - Well we are not going to fight over that one because Susan went and got it after school. So we are one up on you so far.
