It's beautiful! We primed our Crestview a close color to that...and then realized that our house had almost the exact same colors as our neighbors. We wanted the block variety!
Can you tell me if you sprayed or brushed your paint? Mine needs so many more coats before it's nice and smooth up close. But, am begging the husband to break out the sprayer!
Lesley - We rolled the doors with one of those small rollers made for doors and what not. Doing that gives a nice smooth look but the yellow was a pain to do. I may do one more coat just to smooth everything out but from like 5 feet away the doors look perfect. If I had the option to spray them I would though. That always gives the best results.
The yellow looks fab! Really pops frome verything else and says "Im the door, I am located here!" will anything else be getting the yellow color, a little trim around the windows maybe?
I LOVE the color! It was one of my original favorites when you were asking for opinions, but now I see it really, really looks good - makes everything shine!
Thanks for the kind words everyone. It means a lot to hear peoples comments.
@Mick - I have thought about using the yellow somewhere else but I don't know where yet. If we didn't have sliding doors in the carport I would paint those yellow as well. The trim is a good suggestion but we have already decided to paint all of it a dark gray. We will try to find a place for more yellow though.
I agree about adding more yellow...perhaps landscaping? Flowers? Planters? The dark grey on the trim is probably a good choice though. I wouldn't use the yellow there. Anyway, that can wait. It looks really good!

oops...just realized that I used my wrong google profile! I'm Lesley over at midmodredo.com. I'm confusing too many of my online identities!
